Dr Jean-François Delvenne is an Associate Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Leeds. His research focuses on visual attention, visual working memory, hemispheric specialisation, and the effects of ageing on inter-hemispheric communication. Over nearly two decades of teaching and research, he has published widely in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience, contributed to international collaborations, and supervised numerous student research projects. His teaching is known for its clarity, strong scientific grounding, and ability to make complex concepts accessible to learners from a wide range of backgrounds.
