I have helped develop and sell over 1000 franchises since 2012, and now actively work as the president of Venture X, the fastest growing coworking space franchise. In just (4) years we have opened up 33 locations in five countries and have sold over 120 franchises at an average build cost of $2.5M each.
After serving five years active duty in the Air Force, including on 9/11 I started my first business in 2003. In 2011, I achieved my place in the Forbes 30 under 30 list, and even with my accomplishments and experience, my competitors were still generating up to 22,000 times more revenue than I was! They were using outdated, old-school tactics with some of the weakest marketing systems you can imagine but they were still ahead, and it is because of one reason:
They franchised their businesses!
The short and simple foreword is written by Ray Titus, CEO and Founder of United Franchise Group. Ray is the founder of the world’s largest sign franchise, Signarama in 1986, with 800+ locations in 40+ countries.
Ray’s father, Roy Titus, started the MinuteMan Press franchise in the 70’s. Ray has spent his entire life in the franchising world, and now owns and operates 9 franchise brands with over 1400 franchisees in 60+ countries. As for traditional education I have an MBA, a Harvard Certificate in Entrepreneurship, a Cornell University Marketing Certification, licensed real estate broker in three states and I am a lean six sigma greenbelt.
I have been fortunate to be featured on the cover of Realtor Magazine, the Forbes 30 Under 30, Dallas Business Journal, CNBC, Black Enterprise and Entreprenuer.
