Jarvis studied psychology and business at University of Houston-Downtown. He has been a senior leader at several Fortune 500 companies over his 15 year career including Whole Foods and Starbucks. He is also a lead Minister in the lay ministry at Lakewood Church in Houston. In 2012, he developed the STONG Leadership model which he shared at a leadership class for a group of Team Leaders while at Whole Foods Market. Because of the tremendous success of this presentation, Jarvis was inspired to take it a step further and developed more content but more importantly he developed more leaders as a result. His vision expanded further and J. Sam Leadership was born. Jarvis passionate about leadership at every level; from the office to the church to the community and even leadership in the home. On his free time you may catch him enjoying a Houston Rockets basketball game or a good steak dinner with his wife.
