Janet Wamboi is a dedicated homeschooling mother of four. She has a passion for music and has been a been a musician ever since she was a toddler mostly specializing on vocals as well as the guitar. Janet took up the recorder 5 years ago when she started homeschooling her kids and soon realized that its was an ideal instrument to start with for young children. Its simplicity makes it ideal to teach simple music rhythm, notes, pitch, breath control as well as beginner music theory, foundational skills that apply in almost all fields of music. The recorder instrument is also inexpensive , potable and easy to care for. The disciplines learned while playing the recorder can easily be carried on to playing more complicated instruments such as the piano.
