Dr Lee commenced his studies in Sport and Exercise Science in 2002 at the University of the Sunshine Coast QLD. In 2012, Jim spent 12 months in Japan after being awarded a prestigious JSPS research fellowship. Much of Dr Lee’s research fits in the gap between sport and engineering, where he has teamed with Dr James for many and varied technical based projects – the latest being STEMfit. His teaching spans many areas of human movement science and in the STEMfit project, engaging children from all areas of life to learn (and like) science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) subjects.
