About me
Hi, I'm Dale – Writing Coach. Unapologetically weird, wonderful and wise.
I'm a writing coach (yeah, that simple) who has used the pen and my journal in every aspect of life — from the darkest of personal experiences to the sharpest edges of executive leadership. I know what writing can do, because I've needed it to do everything.
I discovered early on that writing was healing, cathartic, and medicine for the soul. It has helped me through a lot of chaos — childhood sexual abuse, grooming, an alcoholic father I adored, a world of conflict at home, decades of narcissistic relationships, and multiple health crises including spinal fractures and MGUS. It also carried me through my corporate life and leadership journey. Through journaling and creative life writing, I could make sense of my world when nothing else could.
I've written books I'll never publish because they served their purpose: healing me. I co-authored Navigate, a book on executive leadership born from the collective wisdom of four practitioners. And I've learned to recognise when a story is meant to be shared as medicine for others walking similar paths.
That's what I help you do.
Whether you're someone ready to turn your transformation story into a book, someone using journaling and creative writing to find your way home to yourself, or a leader who wants to think more deeply, lead more wisely, and reflect more honestly through the page — there's a place for you here.
I specialise in helping people unlock the writing that matters.
My approach tackles the fears that keep powerful stories locked away:
"I can't write" — you already tell stories. I help you capture them.
Imposter syndrome - your survival is your qualification.
Fear of judgment - your authenticity gives others permission to be real.
Not knowing where to start - I guide you from messy truth to finished manuscript.
Your wounds aren't weaknesses. Your leadership experience isn't separate from your humanity. And your story — all of it — is worth telling.
The people who've been through the fire have the most important stories to share, whether for publication, for healing, or simply to finally understand themselves more clearly.
I'm weird in the best possible way. I believe in sharing authentically while keeping some things sacred. Not everything needs to be public — but some stories are too important to stay hidden.
I want to help you find yours.

A Little About Me
In my free time, I’m an avid reader, a deep thinker, and an explorer of all things soulful and strategic. I love long walks with my furries, deep conversations over cake, and a good laugh (despite my dad’s lifelong disapproval of my quirky humour).
I believe learning never stops and reinvention is always possible—no matter where you are in life. If you’re ready to step into your next chapter, I’d love to help guide you.
Let’s turn ideas into action and create something truly meaningful
