Hi, my name is Jack Daly and I am an Educator, designer and student.
I pride myself in my knowledge of the software that aids to all parts of my design process. Confident in the adobe and AutoDesk package, these can be used in parallel to produce a new and interesting design.
I fast-tracked my IGCSE's in Design and Technology 0445, and completed the 2-year course in 1 year, coming out with 95%. A passionate teacher by day, a tinker at night, I like to fuel my passion for design into my students and motivate self-learning - as that's how I grew as a designer.
I began my teaching career when I was 12 - helping out with an electronics course for students. Then 3 months after that I was supporting another electronic course aimed at training teachers. After that, I took lead into my own classes from CAD classes all the way through to Desing Theory.
I label myself as a Jack Of All Trades due to my broad set of skills that stretch over a vast field of design. While the term is usually used for a character whos knowledge of those skills are broad - I like to self-master each skill I learn, ensuring I have an in-depth understanding in that field. One project I might be dabbling in robotics, mechanisms or electronics using CAD and CAM techniques to fabricate the design - and the next I'm designing an ergonomic product that is centred around the user.
