He is associated professor of Electrical measurements at the department of Electrical Engineering and Measurements and founding Head of the Signauticlab – laboratory for measurement of underwater signals, noises and vibrations at the Technical University of Varna. For twenty years, he leads laboratory of the Electrical measurements laboratory in the university. His work is related to practical experiments, data analysis and research. He also works in the field of underwater acoustics, signal processing of underwater noises and sounds.
