Iain has been playing the Guitar for over 30 years and has been teaching professionally for over 17 years. He has worked in all manner of school settings and taught Guitar privately. Over the years has developed a relaxed but informative teaching style - able to convey complex ideas in an easy to understand kinda way.

He has a teaching degree from the University of East London and a Bachelors degree in World Music from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS)

He has a passion for acoustic Guitar and has played with many bands, accompanied folk singers and world musicians and released his own Music. In his spare time records from his home studio, has a fledgling Youtube channel and plays pubs and clubs in his home town of Edinburgh.

Iain specialises in World Music and folk blues styles and loves to play Slide Guitar.
