I'm a hands-on, problem-solving, Mechanical Engineer with an extensive business & technology background.  To me, solving problems means asking WHY a client is looking for a solution, not just HOW, and never taking no for an answer.  Understanding the business behind the technology is just as important as understanding the technology.  This philosophy has allowed me to provide profitable solutions to many of the Fortune 500, including GM, Ford, Apple, and Wal-Mart, and to many smaller businesses.  My clients include Government Agencies, and major players in the the Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Energy, Telecommunications, and Healthcare sectors.

I regularly design and execute Security, VoIP, WiFi, WAN's, Storage Systems, Digital Signage, Audio Visual, Surveillance Systems, and Structured Cabling Systems projects.  But I also have hands-on experience configuring switches & routers, setting up storage appliances, mounting access points, and even terminating cat6 cable.

And while I'm not a programming ninja, I can code in C++, Perl, Java, PHP, and JavaScript.  I also know a bit about UNIX, Windows Server, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

My engineering background has provided me with experience in Solidworks, AutoCAD, Matlab, HVAC, product design, fluid mechanics, feedback control, industrial control systems, and PLCs.

I hold Cisco, VMWare, EMC, and Crestron certifications.  I'm also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
