Graham Tallman is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, and educator whose work spans film and television. He earned his MFA in Film Directing from the American Film Institute, one of the world’s most prestigious conservatories for filmmakers.
As a filmmaker, Graham has worked as an Assistant Director alongside legendary directors and stars including Francis Coppola, Sofia Coppola, and Sylvester Stallone. His short films LOLLIPOPS and CODENAME: SIMON screened at major international festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival, and earned numerous awards worldwide. His directorial feature debut, CREEPER, was followed by producing The Nevsky Prospect for Amazon Studios.
As a screenwriter, Graham adapted Courtney Crumrin and the Night Things for 20th Century Fox, and his script Space Invaders was selected for the coveted Black List, a list of the top unproduced screenplays in Hollywood. His recent work includes the animated pilot Hotel Apocalypse, where he served as creator and head writer, and the feature biopic Birth of the Dead, a biography of George A. Romero, creator of modern day zombies.
In his courses, Graham blends decades of real-world industry experience with cutting-edge AI workflows, teaching students how to combine timeless storytelling craft with modern tools to create bold, original work.
