Gustavo Uceda received her engineering and her MSc degrees respectively from Telecom ParisTech and the University of Pierre and Marie Curie in the same year 2006 and then her PhD degree from Telecom ParisTech in 2010. She obtained her habilitation for leading research from the Sorbonne University in 2019. She is currently an associate professor and the head of the research group "electronics and communications systems" at the Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris. Her research interests are mainly focused in the PHY layer design of wireless optical communications, and cross-layer PHY & MAC design for cellular, sensor and ad-hoc networks. I conducted several research projects in partnership with academical and industrial partners: Thales Communication Group, Telecom ParisTech, CEA-Leti, le CNAM, Sequans Communications, INSA Lyon, Centrale Supelec.
