Gayathri M is a Medical Biochemist, educator, and researcher with over two years of academic experience in medical education. She is associated with the Department of Biochemistry, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute (SSSMCRI), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV), Chennai, where she contributes to undergraduate teaching, research activities, academic publications, and institutional initiatives.

She earned her Master's degree in Medical Biochemistry from SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, graduating with First Class distinction. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry at SSSMCRI, with research interests in clinical biochemistry, molecular diagnostics, laboratory medicine, quality control, microbiology, biomarker discovery, and Artificial Intelligence in healthcare.

Gayathri has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed research publications in areas including neonatology, transgender health, clinical biomarkers, and laboratory diagnostics. Her research has been recognized through ICMR initiatives and presentations at prestigious national scientific conferences, including the Indian Science Congress.

She has served as a Research Task Force Member at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, actively participating in research planning, academic collaborations, and scientific activities. In addition, she has completed Medical Coding certification and several SWAYAM-NPTEL courses to enhance her expertise in medical education, research methodology, healthcare technology, and professional development.

As an educator, Gayathri is passionate about making complex medical concepts simple, practical, and engaging. Through her courses, she aims to help students and healthcare professionals understand emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and apply them effectively in medical education, research, laboratory diagnostics, and patient care.
