I started using Simcenter 3D around 2008. At that time it was still called NX and the version was NX6.5. I tested the software to be used in ship hull general structural analysis. I managed to develop a good methodology for modelling and analysing ship type structures in NX.

From version NX9.5 I started using it in production in the design of offshore heavy lift cranes and ship hull structural analysis. This is also the time where I started using NXOpen scripts to automate the analysis process.

Later on I developed a complete library of custom NXOpen while working at GustoMSC. This library is currently still being used in almost every structural analysis.

This library allows all NX users to leverage the power of automation which NXOpen provides without having to know all the details, a bit like a low code solution.

Currently I'm self-employed, focussing on application development and structural analysis automation using NXOpen.
