Dr. S. Fouziya Sulthana is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering.
With more than 21 years of teaching experience, Dr. Fouziya is dedicated to educating and mentoring engineering students in areas including measurement systems, sensors and interfaces, signal conditioning, system dynamics, solid-state devices, and linear and digital control systems. She combines strong theoretical foundations with practical laboratory experience to help students develop industry-relevant skills.
Her research interests span electronic devices, wearable health-monitoring technologies, flexible and wearable sensors, and intelligent sensing systems for biomedical and engineering applications. She has actively contributed to research and academic development through publications, project guidance, and interdisciplinary collaborations in emerging sensor technologies.
Through her courses, Dr. Fouziya aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, enabling learners to gain hands-on experience in sensor instrumentation, signal processing, and modern measurement systems.
