About me
Farid Yaghini is the co-founder of Quantum Wellness and founder of Camp Aftermath, an entrepreneur, and a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. Whether it's 1:1 coaching, leading workshops, or working alongside mental health professionals to support veterans and first responders living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Farid believes his purpose is to be the vessel for people to use in order to become the best version of themselves and make the world a better place.
Farid believes that to live a purposeful life, one must always be expanding and growing. Whether mentally or physically, our evolution into the best version of ourselves is not only beneficial for us but also for all those who surround us.
FROM A REFUGEE, TO THE CANADIAN MILITARY, TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP
My family and I arrived in Canada as refugees from war-torn Iran when I was 9 years old and went through all the hardships required to adjust to our new lives. I watched as my parents worked feverishly to start a new life and provide a safe and nurturing home for myself and my siblings. Joining the Canadian Forces at the age of 22 provided me with a way to pay back and earn my newfound freedom. I was honored and privileged to deploy to Afghanistan multiple times and serve with some of the finest soldiers and representatives of Canada.
Upon retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces, I founded Camp Aftermath, a charity supporting veterans and first responders living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Working alongside mental health experts, I began to gain insight into the importance of purpose and self-evolution as we go through different phases of our lives. I immersed myself in self-optimization courses and books and became a certified Wellness Coach from Humber College and WellCoaches.
I co-founded Quantum Wellness as a way of sharing my experiences and knowledge beyond the military and first responder realm. I now work with people from all walks of life, whether they are entrepreneurs, professionals, or younger individuals, all looking to evolve into the best version of themselves.
IMPACT
For many years, my sole mission was to serve as many people as possible in whatever capacity I could. I always sought platforms to help me achieve this mission, starting with joining the Canadian Armed Forces and then founding Camp Aftermath and Quantum Wellness. Udemy now serves as my platform to share my life's experiences and knowledge with others so that they can start their own journeys. My intent is for the content I create to become a bridge from your current version to what you envision as your best self.
If you've read this far, thank you for taking the time, and I hope that you will enjoy my courses.
Also, always remember: you are better than you often think you are. You just have to learn how to harness that inner power.
