He quickly progressed through the ranks to become an Assistant Rig Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of drilling rigs and managing a team of drilling personnel.

He played a key role in developing and implementing new drilling strategies and technologies to improve the efficiency and safety of the company's drilling operations. He was also responsible for overseeing the training and development of drilling personnel, and played a key role in developing the company's safety culture.
