I am Fabiano, a Brazilian educator, researcher, and practitioner. I hold a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a master's degree in Plant Biology, and I am pursuing doctoral studies in Higher Education Administration. Since 2019, I have taught biological sciences at the college level, including general biology, botany, plant physiology, plant diversity, plant pathology, and ethnobotany. My research and teaching have also included bryology and science education.  I aim to make complex subjects understandable without oversimplifying them. In my biology courses, I teach scientific knowledge and how evidence is evaluated. In my esoteric courses, I explain spiritual teachings in their own context and distinguish them from historical information and personal interpretation. My scientific training shapes how I ask questions; it is not evidence that a spiritual claim has been scientifically established.  I have studied spirituality, magic, divination, and Western esotericism for many years. My current study and practice include Luciferian esotericism, ceremonial and planetary magic, divination, and Quimbanda. I am a student of Priestess Barbara Toledo at the Initiatic School of Luciferian Quimbanda. My Quimbanda teaching reflects the specific school and perspective I study, especially Luciferian Quimbanda of the Souls. I do not present it as representative of every Quimbanda house.  My goal is education. I want learners to understand what a teaching says, where it comes from, and what its scope is. Outside teaching and research, I enjoy nature, gardening, spirituality, magic, and divination.
