Evija is a professional musician with 20+ years of experience performing in various capacities (private events, festivals and TV shows), and ongoing work as a recording artist.

She's originally from Latvia where she graduated from classical music school, playing violin and piano. Evija then moved to England where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Performance. In 2016 she moved to United States - NJ and has been performing and teaching since then.

As of late, she has been performing in an elite wedding band, a John Mellencamp tribute band, and working on an array of other projects and events.

Her experience and the positive feedback from students have been motivation to not only keep teaching, but has lead her to create her first online course in hopes to continue to forward her expertise onto others and inspire new violinists to pick up this wonderful instrument.
