I was homeschooled through 8th grade and graduated cum laude from Knox College, "the Harvard of the Midwest" with a teaching credential in high school social studies.  My teaching experience has taken me through urban and rural public schools, alternative schools, charter schools, and adult education.  I am excited to share teaching best practices with the homeschooling community through the lens of an experienced educator.
