Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Chef Eric's diverse background exposed him to an eclectic array of foods and cultures. Influenced by his gourmet-cook mother, he developed a refined palate and cooking skills. While initially pursuing a career in music, Chef Eric's love for cooking eventually led him to enroll in the Culinary Institute of America, where he graduated with honors.
His culinary journey took him abroad to train under esteemed chefs at renowned establishments such as Via Veneto in Barcelona and Munich's Hotel Kempinski. Returning to the United States, Chef Eric secured a position at Patina Catering, catering to A-list celebrities and preparing food for prestigious events like the Primetime Emmy Awards Governors Ball.
Driven by a desire to share his passion for cooking and baking, Chef Eric began teaching at the Epicurean School of Culinary Arts. When the school closed, he took the leap and established his own culinary school, Chef Eric's Culinary Classroom. With an emphasis on hands-on learning, Chef Eric's intimate classes cater to aspiring cooks, professional chefs, bakers, pastry chefs, and everyone in between.
Outside of the kitchen, Chef Eric remains committed to making a difference in the community.
