About me
Emma Leiuman is a concert pianist and creator of the PianoWell System, a comprehensive framework for understanding how music is transformed from the written score into sound, movement, and artistic expression.
Her research began more than thirty years ago while she was still a piano student, driven by a simple question: why do some technical difficulties disappear when the musical experience becomes sufficiently clear in the mind? That question gradually evolved into an extensive body of work exploring the relationship between sound imagination, movement, memorization, artistry, and performance.
Emma studied at the Central Music School in Moscow, the Moscow State Chopin College, and the Moscow State Conservatory, where she completed her Master's degree. She has performed internationally and has presented masterclasses and lectures in several countries.
Today her work focuses on helping advanced and professional pianists develop a deeper understanding of technique, musical expression, and performance through the PianoWell System.
