I bring over 15 years of professional experience in the development of automotive electronic control units (ECUs), specializing in power electronics, embedded hardware, and safety-critical systems. Throughout my career, I have led the design of hardware architectures, ASIL-rated safety systems, and advanced automotive communication interfaces for next-generation electric and hybrid vehicles.
Alongside my industry work, I’ve also contributed in academia. As a tutor for Signals and Systems and a lab instructor for Motion Control and Servo Drives at TH Cologne (University of Applied Sciences, Cologne), I’ve guided students through both theory and hands-on practice. These teaching roles helped me build a strong ability to explain complex control and electronics concepts in a clear and structured way.
My areas of expertise include:
Field-Oriented Control (FOC) of induction and PMSM drives
Real-time motor control with MATLAB/Simulink
High-speed automotive communication (10BASE-T1S, 100BASE-T1, PLC, ISO 15118)
Functional safety (ASIL B–D), DFMEA/FMEDA, and system validation
EMC-compliant analog, digital, and mixed-signal design
On Udemy, my goal is to bridge the gap between theory and industry practice. I design my courses to give you both a solid foundation in control systems and the confidence to implement real-world solutions in simulation and hardware.
