About me
Eleanor is not a chef and never attended culinary school, she learned to cook from her mom, whose instructions were, “it’s just a little bit of this and that.” She has taught thousands over the last 20 years that cooking is a creative process. It’s not about slavishly following recipes or exact measurements. For her, cooking sparks fond and delicious memories of cooking with her mom and sisters, and conversations around the dining table, a tradition she wants to pass onto you.
In her first career as a computer training professional, she simplified a complicated topic and helped secretaries overcome the fear and resistance to new technology. She made it fun and that’s what she’s doing now with cooking.
Because there were so many misconceptions about the type of wok and stove to use, the stir fry technique and what ingredients to use, she put together a Wok Star Kit with those 4 elements to help people Cook Like a Wok Star.
But the most rewarding part of what she does is hearing success stories from people who say her approach to cooking changed their lives.
If you’re ready to simplify your cooking, never worry about “what’s for dinner”, eat healthy and spend quality time with family and friends, join her in a class and become a Wok Star.
Subscribe to my newsletter on my website and best is to join me on Instagram @wokstar for cooking updates and where I share Wok Stars' creations and more.
