Elaine has been teaching Reiki for 25 years and brings a deep understanding and decades of experience to this gentle spiritual practice. Her focus is very much on helping others become more self-empowered and self-authorising. The gift of Reiki is in the self-practice, the wonderful way we can heal ourselves and fulfil our true potential.

Elaine is author to two books: a beginners guide, Reiki Pure and Simple, and an advanced spiritual guide, Reiki - A Path to Freedom.  She has also co-ordinated 2 global consumer studies on Reiki and is a founding member of The Usui Reiki Association in Singapore.

Elaine has lived and worked all over the world. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and has worked in London, Hong Kong, New York, Singapore and is now enjoying Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire, England. She spent a decade in the corporate world of advertising, marketing and market research. She also spent the later part of her corporate career conducting leadership training and executive coaching for government and multi-nationals.

She stepped away from her corporate career in 2007 to set up The Reiki Centre and has since dedicated her work to teaching Reiki and advocating for high quality Reiki education free from dogma.
