Hello, I'm Dr. Eduardo Fuentes, a tech entrepreneur and researcher. I am an experienced AI professional with a passion for enhancing the quality and effectiveness of scientific writing. Over the past 15 years, I've dedicated myself to academic writing and editing. And in the process, I've had the honor of training over 10,000 researchers, from eager PhD students to tenured university professors.

I've been fascinated with the use and application of "Large Language Models" (LLMs), such as GPT-4, which powers ChatGPT. I've closely witnessed their evolution since 2017, from GPT-1 to the current GPT-4. I have also earned certifications in Prompt Engineering and the use of ChatGPT from Vanderbilt and Arizona State Universities.

My fascination with AI led me to co-found WriteWise and invent an AI-assisted platform that helps researchers to write academic manuscripts. This is with the purpose of making academic writing more accessible and efficient for researchers around the world. Along with this, my 15-year journey in scientific publishing, which involves teaching, writing, editing, and publishing, has given me a well-rounded perspective on the academic world.

My academic journey includes 21 published scientific articles, a citation count of 1030, participation in 55 national and international conferences, and contributing to 16 research projects, six of which I led. I hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and have completed postdoctoral training at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, the University of Aberdeen, also in Scotland, and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
