About me
Ed Deboo is a Physical Therapist with 32 years of clinical experience helping people improve their strength, balance, mobility, and quality of life through exercise. His passion is making safe, effective fitness accessible to older adults so they can stay active, confident, and independent.
Ed is the author of 10-Minute Strength Training Exercises for Seniors, a highly rated guide to building strength and balance at home. He is currently writing his second book, Senior Stretching and Mobility, scheduled for release in the summer of 2027.
Together with his wife, Elizabeth Deboo, also a Physical Therapist, Ed co-creates the YouTube channel Front Row with Ed and Elizabeth, where more than 240,000 subscribers have learned through over 465 videos focused on senior fitness, strength training, balance, stretching, mobility, and healthy aging.
Ed earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He is also a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certified Sports Coach.
