Dr. M. Kandan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Technologies, School of Computing, College of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur–603203, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, India. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Cloud Computing from Anna University, Chennai in 2018. With over 18 years of teaching experience and more than 10 years of research experience, Dr. Kandan has consistently contributed to both academic and research domains.

He has presented numerous research papers in national and international journals, conferences, and symposiums. In addition to research papers, he has also published patents, books, and book chapters at the national level. His primary research interests include: Cloud Computing, Machine Learning and Internet of Things (IoT)
