Since I started teaching website development online my courses have ended up in colleges and universities across the United States including the University of Washington in addition to schools in the UK and New Zealand.  As a self-taught web developer, on several occasions I have been taken back when asked by university instructors to help them with accelerating lesson plans when teaching their students core web development concepts.
