Dr. J. Dhanalakshmi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Business Systems at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai, India. She holds a Bachelor's degree (B.E.) and a Master's degree (M.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Tamil Nadu, India, where she secured the 31st University Rank in her Master's program.

Before entering academia, she worked as a Software Developer at Fermtronics Technology Solutions, gaining valuable industry experience in software development. She later earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. She also completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, further strengthening her expertise in advanced computing and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Dhanalakshmi has authored more than 33 research publications in reputed SCI, Scopus-indexed journals, international conferences, and book chapters. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Energy Analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

As an educator and researcher, she is passionate about simplifying complex technical concepts through practical examples, real-world case studies, and industry-oriented learning. Her mission is to equip students, researchers, and professionals with the knowledge and analytical skills needed to solve real-world business and technology challenges using data-driven approaches.
