Dima is a certified change practitioner, yoga teacher and breathwork therapist that comes with 10 years of experience in the well-being space. Her teachings are grounded on the foundations of yogic philosophy and neuroscience.
She has a MA in Cognition where she studied the interplay between cognitive processes (such as thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, and memories), behavioral patterns, and how our thoughts and interpretations influence our emotions and actions.
She has received extensive training from some of the world's leading yoga and breath masters studying the role of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves and how the breath can be used as a tool to heal the nervous system to improve both physical and mental well-being. She has an ongoing breathwork mentorship with her breath mentor, Jenika Bronsen, and has completed functional breath trainings with Patrick Mckeown, a leading international expert who has helped thousands of people to substantially improve their sports performance and overall health by incorporating simple, medically proven breathing principles and exercises into their lives.
Dima's heritage is from Syria, she has worked with clients in London, Copenhagen & Spain and is now based in Dubai, UAE. She has a deep passion for holistic well-being practices, understanding the human experience and sharing what she learns, and the tools she uses, with her communities so that they can integrate them into their daily lives.
