Shazia Omar is a yogini, novelist, and positive psychologist with over twenty years of experience teaching yoga in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Widely known as the Yoga Mama of Bangladesh, she is the founder of The Flow Fest a wellness movement of forty thousand people built on yoga classes, retreats, workplace wellness programs, and community festivals.
A lifelong advocate for mental health and mindful living, Shazia brings a rare blend of ancient breathwork wisdom and modern positive psychology to her teaching. Her breathwork courses draw on decades of embodied practice, rooted in the belief that the breath is our most powerful and always-accessible tool for healing, calm, and self-regulation.
As the author of two novels and a trained psychologist, Shazia weaves storytelling, science, and somatic practice into her teaching style making complex techniques feel immediate, human, and deeply practical. Her mission is simple: healing happens through connection, not in isolation.
