Ever since I can remember, stories have held a special place in my heart. As a young child, I'd spend hours captivated by my grandparents' tales.
Once I learned to read, the library became my sanctuary. Stories filled the void left by my shyness and the constant moves necessitated by my father's work. I became one with the characters, living in their world as if it were my own.
My first attempt at storytelling came as a bedtime tale for my sister. It was a simple story, yet it revealed the power of stories to connect and teach.
However, as I entered the "real world," stories seemed to take a backseat. Caught up in the demands of adulthood, I forgot the magic they held.
Then, my son, Angelo, arrived. With him came a rediscovery of a long-lost part of myself. Stories, I realized, had always been my language – a way to communicate, heal, and express myself. Angelo simply opened the door wider, unleashing a creativity that brings me immense joy and freedom.
Now, I use stories to teach him, to connect, and to have fun. This lifelong love affair with storytelling is what I want to share with the world. Let's explore the magic of storytelling together!
