Debbi Mack is the New York Times bestselling author of IDENTITY CRISIS, the first book in the Sam McRae Mystery Series, featuring Maryland lawyer-sleuth Stephanie Ann “Sam” McRae. She also writes the Erica Jensen Mystery Series, featuring a female Marine veteran sleuth who struggles with PTSD and drug addiction, while taking on private investigations for clients. Her first book in that series, DAMAGED GOODS, was nominated for a Shamus Award. In addition, Debbi's work includes a young adult novel called INVISIBLE ME, a thriller called THE PLANCK FACTOR, and several short stories, one of which was nominated for a Derringer Award. Debbi has also written three feature film screenplays: one that made the 2016 Scriptapalooza semi-finals and adaptations of two of her novels, as well as pilot episodes, short scripts, and an attempt at a scripted podcast. A native of Queens, NY, Debbi currently lives in Columbia, MD, with her husband and cats.
