David Vose has been at the forefront of the development of risk analysis tools and techniques for over 30 years, working both as a consultant and leading Vose Software, developers of the most innovative software available in business risk analysis. He has written three books, all published by Wiley, various international guidelines, as well as many peer-reviewed papers applying risk analysis in fields as broad as nuclear power, food safety, climate change and cyber security.

In his view, risk analysis is a technique to help make better decisions in the face of uncertainty. To that end, risk models should be simple to understand and use, trustworthy, and focused. This course reflects those beliefs.
