Soy David Varela, soy un consultor en el área de ETL e Ingeniería de datos.

Como mucha gente, entré al mundo de los datos sin tener una preparación completa sobre el ramo y sólo enfocándome en

aprender a usar una herramienta ETL. No basta decir que no es suficiente aprender herramientas sin el contexto adecuado.

Al ir trabajando muchas horas con clientes y aprender "A la mala", me di cuenta que muchos compañeros sufrían al igual que yo

al no tener una base sólida sobre el área, por lo que decidí poner en papel todo mi conocimiento para hacerle sentido al mundo de los datos

y llenar los vacíos teóricos y prácticos para ayudar a los demás.

Con esto de base aproveché mis apuntes para crear cursos que puedan ayudar en dos cosas principales, aprender la herramienta que se está utilizando y

enfocarla con la teoría DEL MUNDO REAL y ejemplos del MUNDO REAL para que el aprendizaje sea significativo. No quiero hacer cursos que digan lo que ya está en internet,

si no brindarte de mayor valor al darte la oportunidad de aprender con escenarios de la vida real en cada ejercicio y ejemplo.

Si te puedo ayudar a alcanzar metas profesionales más altas o hacer que te desenvuelvas mejor en tu trabajo entonces mi objetivo estará cumplido.

About Me

Do you wish to pursue a career in the Data World as a Data Engineer?

The only thing that makes a difference out there is how much you invest in your knowledge and skills.

I am David Varela, an ETL and Data Engineer Consultant.

Like many people, I started in the Data World without having a complete background in the industry and only focused on learning a specific ETL tool. It is not surprising to say that it was not enough to learn just a tool without the proper context.

Time passed, and while working many hours for different clients and learning the "Hard Way," I realized that many of my work partners were suffering as much as I was for not having a solid background in the industry. That is why I decided to put all my knowledge on paper to make sense of this Data World and fill any theoretical and practical gaps in order to help others.

I took advantage of these activities to create courses that can help you in two ways: the first is to teach you the tool or skill, and the second is to focus it with REAL-WORLD examples and exercises so your learning experience is meaningful. I do not want to create courses that say what is already out there, but to give you more value
with REAL-WORLD scenarios and examples.

If I can help you move one step closer to your goal or feel more comfortable at work, then my goal is fulfilled.
