Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with industry-leading companies like ISUZU, General Motors, and Tenneco, leading projects in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational efficiency.
My journey began in industrial engineering, where I honed my expertise in facility layout design, production optimization, and process improvement, utilizing tools like AutoCAD and Unigraphics. Throughout my career, I’ve played a key role in ISO auditing and implementation, helping organizations achieve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
Beyond consulting, I’ve dedicated myself to training and mentorship, delivering specialized workshops in Six Sigma, SPC, SMED, and Lean methodologies across South Africa and Malawi. As the founder of Hayes Engineering, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients to implement Lean strategies, improve production systems, and optimize business operations.
Entrepreneurship has also been a significant part of my journey—I successfully ran a hydrographic printing business, "Coat It," showcasing my versatility and innovation beyond engineering. My academic background includes a National Diploma and BTech in Industrial Engineering, where I earned distinctions, including the Cadbury Award for Best Project.
