About me
Hello, I’m David, a computational mechanics engineer with a background in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, and numerical simulation.
My core focus areas include dynamics, vibrations, multibody systems, structural and system dynamics, and numerical methods. I have worked on complex engineering problems in industrial environments such as automotive engineering, machinery, and high-tech applications, where accurate modeling, physical understanding, and robust problem solving are essential.
In my courses, I translate this experience into carefully structured, application-driven courses focused on real-world systems and engineering-relevant problems. Exercises are designed to be well-guided and systematically build intuition, not just produce results, with the aim of developing a clear understanding of system behavior and enabling reliable engineering decisions beyond textbook examples.
Concepts are developed step by step with emphasis on physical interpretation, mathematical clarity where needed, and practical relevance - avoiding dry theory ! The courses are complemented by insights and considerations drawn from industrial simulation practice.
I actively support my students throughout the learning process. Questions are encouraged, and I aim to provide clear, technically sound guidance whenever clarification is needed, helping you build lasting confidence in your engineering skills.
