Certification exams don’t fail people because they don’t know the tool, they fail people because the questions test reasoning. That’s what I teach.
My name is Daria Kirilenko, I'm a Certified Tableau Consultant and Business Intelligence Professional based in Oakville, Ontario.
I’ve spent the last 8+ years working with data professionally, not just building dashboards, but helping teams understand what their numbers actually mean and what to do next. As an Analytics Consultant, one of the most rewarding parts of my work is teaching data professionals how to think through problems instead of memorizing steps.
I’ve led analytics projects across North America and built training programs used internally by large organizations, including Salesforce’s Zero to Dangerousprogram which unexpectedly became their most-used learning resource in 2022.
I also teach Tableau courses at Stanford University, where I run both structured classes and customized workshops for different teams. Over the years I’ve trained more than 15,000 learners across finance, life sciences, and tech — from complete beginners to experienced developers preparing for certification.
In 2025, I co-authored The Tableau Cookbook for Experienced Professionals, a technical guide that translates enterprise-scale Tableau challenges into practical recipes that solve complex business problems.
I’m also currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Statistics, because understanding the math behind analytics tools makes a huge difference when things don’t behave the way you expect.
My goal with every course is simple: I want to help you understand why something works, how to fix it when it breaks, and how to use this knowledge confidently in real projects.
If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in the right place!
