My name is Daphna Monshri, and I am an animal-assisted therapist for children and adolescents, as well as a certified dog trainer. I hold a B.A. degree in Education , a certificate in animal-assisted education and therapy, and I am a certified dog trainer.
For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by dogs and other animals. Their boundless love accompanied me throughout my childhood, so it was clear to me as I grew up that my career would involve animals. I wanted to study a field that would allow me to be around animals while also sharing the immense love and unconditional acceptance they offer with others, especially children. This led me to the field of animal-assisted education and therapy.
Today, I combine my two passions: working with children through animal-assisted therapy and training dogs. In this course, I used my knowledge as a dog trainer and animal-assisted therapist, with over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents, to ensure that everyone who takes the course can successfully train their dog. I believe the course offers a unique and valuable opportunity for children to learn dog training independently. The practical nature of the digital course helps children and teens develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, decision-making abilities, and leadership skills. All of this is combined with a lot of fun and strengthens their love for their dogs.
