I have 7 years of teaching experience in 6 countries and a bachellor's degree in Linguistics from the University of Arizona.  I'm currently living and working in Turkey, but I have also taught English in the United States, Korea, China, Costa Rica and Mexico. 

       Teaching and learning are my passions in life.  I struggled with Spanish growing up and in college, but became determined to learn it at all costs.  I took a Spanish course with an excellent instructor who gave me the confidence that I could succeed.  I made the decision to change my University major to linguistics and to study abroad in Costa Rica.

       My success in learning Spanish made me decide to study a more difficult language, so I took a teaching job in Beijing, China.  I studied Chinese for 2 1/2 years.  Chinese is a difficult, but fun language to learn!
