Dana Rivera is the author of "Healing in Heels: A Stroke Survivors Journey to High Heels" and a certified peer specialist at UCLA, St. Johns, and Santa Monica College, where she facilitates the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program. She moderates weekly survivor and caregiver groups through the hospital system, lectures at stroke charities, like the American Heart Association, and guides other survivors through their stroke recovery journey.
