Dana Bowser has been a daycare owner since 2006 and has extensive experience teaching and nurturing children of all ages - which includes infants. She is also a Special Education teacher, at Grafton School and Richmond Public Schools with three Masters degrees in Special Education, Curriculum Instruction, and Educational Leadership respectively.
Dana enjoys and has extensive experience nurturing children under her care and helping them develop and learn. As a dedicated and highly dependable daycare owner, she values the importance of a strong foundation that can help her young students blossom. She is currently working on an in-depth daycare guide and preschool curriculum that are designed to encompass individual needs.
With her experience creating and implementing a Life Skills Curriculum for grades 9 to 12 as well as a preschool curriculum, she is more than capable of creating plans that can nurture young minds into growing into their true potential.
Dana doesn’t stop here. Using the lessons she has learned as a daycare instructor, mentor, coach and teacher she keeps upgrading her techniques to ensure her students can keep growing intellectually.
This includes adding Learning Binders to a preschool curriculum that could help preschoolers transition into kindergarten easily. To make such transitions and growth easier, Dana ensures that parents are involved in their children’s development from the beginning so they are aware of the skills they have learned that can help them in the next grade.
Children can thrive if they are given the appropriate tools and learning environments that can help them develop as individuals with bright futures. As a teacher who has more than a decade’s experience teaching in a range of settings and children from diverse backgrounds, Dana has what it takes to develop flexible preschool curriculums and manage daycare centres that parents can rely on.
