As an undergraduate, my first love was Mathematical Analysis. Then I studied in Oxford and Paris, obtaining a D.Phil, and I learned other topics, but I still loved Analysis.  I'm well-able to help others with learning the beautiful structure that so many hands have built. The simple properties of the real numbers have been generalized to the larger universe of metric spaces. Just about everything in advanced analysis takes place in a metric space.
