Dr. Daisy Lovelace is an award-winning instructor at Duke University. She is passionate about helping leaders strengthen their interpersonal skills, communicate with clarity and conviction, and find their authentic voice, especially in high-stakes moments.

At Duke, Daisy is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Management and Organizations area, Executive Director of the Management Communication Center, and a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke Law School.  Her academic interests include persuasion and influence, crisis management and communication, leadership, interpersonal communication, strategic communication, and leading change. 

In addition to her academic roles, she is a corporate consultant and executive coach, partnering with organizations and executives to elevate performance and impact. She also develops and delivers short-form courses on the LinkedIn Learning platform.

Before joining Duke, she held faculty appointments at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University–Bloomington, Princeton University, Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. She lives with her family in Durham, N.C.
