The creator of Skippy, Mr Clements, is an Occupational Therapist who has worked in the NYC public school system. His work in the NYC public school system has afforded him an excellent knowledge base to assist children. Mr Clements has seen first hand the difficulties that develop when children are unable to write. Causing frustration for the child and parent, peer insecurities and unfortunately causing poor academic performance.
