When I was in 10 years old, I began volunteering in rural nursing homes near my hometown. Thanks to my mother supporting my wild dream as a child to befriend every older adult I met, I am now finishing my doctorate degree in occupational therapy at Drake University with a special interest in geriatrics. I am dedicated to advocating and providing effective care to the elderly population, empowering them to take charge of their aging and enhance their quality of life for years to come. I look forward to putting smiles on my patients face with creative and meaningful interventions to support independence and well-being.
