I am currently serving as a Deputy State Fire Marshal.
Previous work includes being a Building Official for a small county in VA. I also performed Fire & Life Safety duties for Virginia Tech University. This included maintaining and testing the University's fire alarms, fire protection systems, and fire extinguishers in residential and dining areas, conducting plan review of renovations and new projects, and performing monthly inspections of each building using the VA Statewide Fire Prevention Code.
