This Udemy course brings together a few of my passions.  One of my professional passions is creating content.  I’ve got an educational background in instructional design and have created content for continuing education as part of my work.  And personally, I’m passionate about animals and am an urban dog parent. 

I grew up in the suburbs and spent most of my life around dogs.  But soon after I adopted my rescue pup “Thor” and brought him home to live me here in New York City, I realized that having a city dog requires a slightly different approach. So, I set up a simple acclimation plan and routine that helped Thor adapt beautifully to city life. 

I designed this course so that I can share my approach with other busy urban professionals like you who want to adopt or recently adopted a furry friend and need a place to start.
