Chris is originally from the UK and has been living and working in China since 2011. Chris is currently the COO at Pixelmatic, a video game studio based in Shanghai.

Chris began his career as a TEFL  teacher at a multinational training centre based in Shanghai and was eventually promoted to Operations Director. He was responsible for maintaining the teaching quality of the 50+ mainland China schools. Throughout his career he trained and managed hundreds of TEFL teachers and went on to develop leadership and management training programmes for the academic managers along with online training suites for continuous professional development of the teachers. He co-authored and published a comprehensive kindergarten course, including textbooks, activity books, teachers guides, course guides, and multimedia materials.
